Conflict Resolution Workshop
Begins: January 2025
Repeats every season
Free and open to public
Why conflict resolution? Conflict resolution can bring people together in events of disagreements or misunderstandings. It can help deepen relationships. It is all about tackling problems as a team rather than attacking each other. In this workshop, we will practice the anatomy of peace structure, a model for conflict resolution, along with polarity analysis at home, at work, and even in our communities.
Before each class, the attached form will be distributed to those who register. You can reflect on the conflict you will bring to the workshop. The certified coach will explain each part of the form with questions to reflect on. Then, we will reflect on each section together. You can keep it personally or share it with the group (as much as you are comfortable.) There will be no recording. This is a monthly workshop focusing on the practice of conflict resolution.
The days will be announced before the end of 2024.

Self-discovery through literature: book club
Begins: January 2025
Repeats on third Wednesday of very month
Free and open to public
This book club will focus on the protagonist's growth and maturity. We will discuss how each one of us personally resonates with that growth. As we traverse the narrative, we shall inevitably encounter other characters, examining their influence on the protagonist and, in turn, his/her effect on them.
Our discussions will be rich with viewing each character through the prism of personal development. We shall explore various growth facets, such as the protagonist's capacity for introspection and critical thinking, internal and external motivations, self-awareness, and interactions with societal norms. These elements, among many others, will form the foundation of our dialogues.
Shabnam Curtis, an author and a life coach focused on adult growth and maturing, will lead the book club by bringing thought-provoking questions, listening attentively, and facilitating the discussion.
Please sign up here.
The exact link will be provided before the end of 2024.
